Last week, a group of us swapped our desks for harnesses and helmets to take on the Via Ferrata Cornwall Business Challenge Event, billed as the most fun team-building event in Cornwall. It didn’t disappoint.
The day was packed with challenges that tested our planning, problem-solving and teamwork (think Krypton Factor meets Crystal Maze). From tackling heights and wobbly bridges to working out puzzles under pressure, every activity reminded us just how much stronger we are when we pull together.
It wasn’t just about the competition (though we’re a team that enjoys a healthy bit of rivalry!), it was also about building trust, encouraging each other, and celebrating everyone’s strengths. By the end of the day, we’d not only sharpened our skills but also deepened the camaraderie that underpins everything we do at Harland.
Events like these are a brilliant reminder that business success is built on people… people who can collaborate, adapt, and support each other, whatever the challenge. And we’re proud to say we’ve got exactly that kind of team here at Harland.
