Get to know Sophie a little better …

Are you a spender or a saver?
As an accountant everyone expects me to say saver, but the reality is probably ‘responsible spender’. I like having a plan and saving for the important things, but I also believe life’s too short not to enjoy family experiences and holidays along the way.

How do you like to relax?
Spending time with my family is top of the list. I also enjoy watching a good crime drama, the occasional spa day, and getting away in the caravan to explore new places. Fitness still features when I can fit it in, but these days relaxation often means a quiet evening with a glass of wine after a busy family weekend.

If money and time were no object, what would you be doing right now?
Travelling the UK and beyond with my family, exploring new places and creating lots of memories. Somewhere sunny by the sea with plenty of opportunities for adventure would be ideal!

Who do you follow on social media?
Friends and family first. After that, it’s a mixture of parenting, travel, food and fitness accounts, with the occasional business and personal development profile thrown in too.

Who is someone you admire or respect?
I admire Deborah Meaden for her business acumen, honesty and strong ethical values. She’s not afraid to challenge ideas while staying true to what she believes in, which is something I really respect.

And finally … how can a client butter-you-up?
Nothing beats positive feedback. Knowing that I’ve helped make a difference to a client’s business and hearing that they’re happy with the support they’ve received always makes my day.
