Deborah Edwards

Deborah is passionate about helping ambitious business owners build successful businesses that reflect their values.

As Practice Director at Harland Accountants, Deborah leads the day-to-day running of the firm while working closely with entrepreneurs who want an accountant that understands their ambitions as well as their numbers. Her approach combines financial expertise with business mentoring, helping business owners develop confidence, make better decisions and build businesses with both profit and purpose.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Association of Business Mentors, Deborah brings more than 20 years of experience supporting growing businesses. Alongside her role at Harland, she is a Non-Executive Director at Crowdfunder, the UK’s leading crowdfunding platform, having previously served as Finance Director during a significant period of growth and investment.

Deborah is also the founder of Raised Up, a mentoring and coaching business created to help entrepreneurs build a healthier relationship with money, develop financial confidence and achieve sustainable business growth.

At Harland, Deborah works closely with business owners who want more than technical advice. Combining financial expertise with mentoring and coaching, she helps entrepreneurs build confidence, overcome challenges and make better business decisions. Her belief is simple: when good people build successful businesses, they create positive change for their employees, customers, communities and the wider world.

Outside work, Deborah enjoys spending time with her family and Maggie, their much-loved Spanish Water Dog. She is passionate about Cornwall’s business community and enjoys helping entrepreneurs build successful businesses that make a positive difference.
