Accounts Assistant / Wellbeing Champion

Grace Gordon

Grace Gordon, Accounts Assistant for Harland Accountants in Falmouth, St Austell, Helston, and Newquay

Grace is a brilliant example of what’s possible when talent, dedication and a genuine passion for people come together. Since joining Harland as an apprentice, she’s become an integral part of the team — both for her technical skills and her drive to make Harland a better place to work.

In 2025, Grace was named Cornwall’s Accountancy Apprentice of the Year, recognised not only for her impressive exam results — including top marks in her AAT Level 2 assessments — but also for the real difference she’s made to her colleagues and community. She played a leading role in Harland winning the Healthy Cornwall Award, helping to embed a culture of wellbeing across the business, from regular health checks to monthly wellness tips and mental health support.

Grace is one of our Mental Health First Aider’s and continues to lead the charge as Workplace Wellbeing Champion and Social Secretary. Whether she’s organising bowling, a beach picnic or supporting clients, Grace brings energy, empathy and real purpose to everything she does.

Her next goal? Smashing her AAT Level 3 and continuing to shape the future of accountancy — and workplace culture — in Cornwall.
