Jodie Smith, Client Manager, Harland Accountants

One of the newest members of the Harland team, Jodie started with us in February 2024 and brings with her a wealth of experience, having been in practice for 10 years. She became a fully ACA qualified Chartered Accountant in 2020, and before this studied at the University of Plymouth, where she graduated with a first class BA(Hons) in Accounting and Finance.

“I enjoy working with clients at all stages of the business life cycle, from start-ups to well established businesses with high-turnovers. I have experience helping businesses in a broad range of sectors, including solo artists, family-run farms, and even multi-million pound construction firms.”

In her free time, she likes to be out on the Cornish water as much as possible, and loves snorkelling and crab hunting. She is also an avid reader.

“I wasn’t much of a reader until my friend lent me Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier, and now I have more books than space in my house!”
