MATT TEAGUE
Having achieved the highest level industry qualification in February 2023, Matt is now a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with many years experience working with a wide variety of clients. Having joined Harland as an apprentice in 2015 after finishing college, he is very much a home-grown talent.
Conscientious with a down-to-earth approach, Matt is our go-to person for Limited Company end-of-year accounts, and our in-house Compliance Champion. His future-focussed outlook gives clients peace-of-mind to plan and make informed financial decisions.

Are you a spender or a saver?
I’m trying to save but it’s so hard!
How do you like to relax?
I play golf most weekends (my handicap is 14), I also like indie/rock music and my favourite bands are Feeder, The Snuts, and The Kays), I sometimes play video games too
Has anything funny ever happened with a client?
A client once asked if I was single, for her daughter!
If money and time was no object, what would you be doing right now?
I’d be on the beach in the Maldives, having a lovely peaceful time
Who do you follow on social media?
Lots of golf accounts, F1 (Mercedes) and George Russell (my favourite driver) – I went to Silverstone last year to watch the British Grand Prix, dressed head-to-toe in George Russell fan clothing … he then crashed out on the first corner!
Who is someone you admire or respect?
Grant Nicholas, the lead singer from Feeder, he’s so talented and has been through a lot
And finally … how can a client butter-you-up?
I like anything cakey or chocolatey, just make sure it doesn’t have nuts in (I’m not allergic, I just don’t like them)
